College Admissions...

1) What do I have left to do in order to get accepted to a college?
- As a junior I have a lot to get done over the summer so I can relax and focus on my senior year when it starts in the fall. Some of these fall into the categories of signing up for loans/scholarships, turning in my transcripts, retake my SAT and take my ACT, and focus on my grades/ GPA to be able to be accepted into that college. I have already signed up for taking a tour with the colleges that I have chosen to try to get accepted into as I will be doing that over the summer.

2) When will these tasks get accomplished? MAKE A TIME LINE-
-These tasks that I accomplish will help me to know and expect where to go for my first year of college and be able to plan ahead of what to get, or what to even prepare myself for. With accomplishing what I need to get done over the summer to be accepted into the college(s) I will be able to relax and enjoy my senior year ( OF COURSE FOCUS ON MY GPA TOO).

Summer 2015- Go visit colleges with my mom to look and see if the college is fit to me and if my mom would like it as well.

August 2015- Get buckled down on grades, prepare for college admissions and start saving money for college admissions payments and just college in general. Be encouraged to visit more colleges that isn't on your top 15 list but visit them as they should be your "back up colleges" just in case and be prepared to apply for more colleges as well.

December 2015- I should have some acceptance letters back from colleges that I applied to. I should talk to my mom and family and come to conclusions and narrow down my options on what college to attend in the fall of 2016.

Spring 2016- I should have a narrowed down option of what college to attend and, to be able to sign a agreement on what college I will be attending for the fall of 2016 once I am graduated by may of 2016!

Summer of 2016- Continue through what I need to get done in order to be ready for the fall of 2016. I should get such done as: Student ID, meal plans, housing options, packing for college and getting to know my roommate to be prepared for the fall of 2016.

I believe that I am on the way to where I need to be as a junior I still have some time to keep looking at the colleges that I may want to attend. Yet, I need to be prepared for senior year as I am finishing up the end of my High school career and beginning a new chapter in my life. I do admit though that I need to retake my SAT and I need to sign up to take my ACT and get my transcripts sent.
